OUR DIVISIONS

Ammonia-powered shipping

We develop carbon free maritime projects with attractive return on investment, based on our proprietary ammonia-powered concept designs. We take a holistic approach to ship technology, bunkering logistics, business cases and financing.

GAS CARRIERS

Amon Maritime holds ownership interests in ammonia-fuelled gas carriers through Navigator Amon Shipping, a joint venture with Navigator Gas. The vessels are designed to provide large-scale transport of ammonia and LPG and plays a strategic role in establishing ammonia distribution and availability as a green marine fuel.

Dry BULK

Amon Maritime develops ammonia-fuelled bulk carriers through the subsidiary Amon Bulk, with initial focus on the Kamsarmax Segment. The vessels are designed for zero-emission deep-sea transport and play a strategic role in supporting the decarbonisation of global dry bulk trade and the adoption of ammonia as a marine fuel.

OFFSHORE

Since 2020 Amon have been developing the next-generation PSV work horse for the Norwegian Continental Shelf, with the customer in focus, collaborating with oil companies to ensure that cargo capacities and operational capabilities are just as future proof as the power technology and emissions reductions. Amon Offshore will build, own and operate a fleet of ammonia-powered supply ships, setting a new standard for North Sea PSVs – while drastically reducing emissions.

Ammonia bunkering

Azane Fuel Solutions develops ammonia gas handling technology and bunkering infrastructure, with current plans to build the three first bunkering terminals in Norway. The solutions are designed to enable safe and scalable supply of ammonia as a marine fuel and plays a strategic role in establishing the infrastructure required for zero-emission shipping. The company is owned by Amon Maritime together with Yara Growth Ventures, Navigator Gas and ECOnnect Energy.

Ula Ship Management

To build capabilities, scale, strength and quality equal to any large, fully integrated shipowner, Amon Maritime found the optimal long-term and high-quality partner in Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement. Together, the Partners have established the 50/50 joint venture Ula Ship Management, co-located with Amon Maritime in Sandefjord, Norway. The company will manage Amon Maritime vessels and be a new, competitive force in the Norwegian third party management market for complex vessels.
