André Risholm established Amon Maritime september 2019.
Q1 - 2020
Strategic cooperation with commercial and financial advisors and shipping industry decarbonisation NGOs.
Q2 - 2020
Cooperation with leading R&D and technology partners.
Cooperation with potential charterers and ammonia suppliers.
Q3 - 2020
Glastad Holding joins as investor, through their shipping investment arm – Mosvolds Rederi.
Q3/Q4 - 2020
Start planning of ammonia bunkering & short sea bulk project.
Q1 - 2021
Viridis Bulk Carriers established, with partners Navigare Logistics and Mosvolds Rederi.
Q2 - 2021
Azane Fuel Solutions established, with partner ECONNECT Energy. Partners sign up in the ‘Ammonia Bunkering Network’ project and application to the Green Initiative is sent.
Viridis Bulk Carriers signs up 7 charterers in the ‘Flexbulk – NH3 Power project’.
Q3 - 2021
Azane Fuel Solutions awarded 89 MNOK from the Green Initiative for the consortium project ‘Ammonia Bunkering Network’.
‘Flexbulk – NH3 Power project’ submit application to the Pilot-E program.
Q4 - 2021
Viridis Bulk Carriers and consortium partners in the ‘Flexbulk – NH3 Power project’ is awarded 13,8 MNOK from the Pilot-E program, with further investment grant to be awarded from ENOVA.
Q2 - 2022
Ula Ship Management is established, with partner Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM).
Azane Fuel Solutions signs commercial agreement with Yara International in support of building ammonia bunkering network in Scandinavia.
Q3 - 2022
Azane Fuel Solutions receives DNV approval for ammonia bunkering terminal, which is a major milestone in establishing a safety protocol for the bunkering of ammonia, enabling the uptake of ammonia as fuel to decarbonise the maritime industry.
Q4 - 2022
Amon Offshore is launched offering carbon-free offshore logistics on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
Q1 - 2023
Viridis Bulk Carriers receives approval in principle from Bureau Veritas for their innovative Ammonia powered short sea bulk vessel.
Q3 - 2023
Viridis Bulk Carriers receives NOK 152 million to help finance the construction of two ammonia-powered bulk carriers.
Q4 - 2023
Yara Growth Ventures and Navigator Holdings Ltd. lead investment round of 5.7 million USD in Azane Fuel Solutions AS.
Q1 - 2024
Azane Fuel Solutions received approval from DSB to build the world’s first bunkering terminal for low-emission ammonia.
Q2 - 2024
Amon Gas is launched with a NOK 180 million investment grant from Enova to build ammonia-powered MGCs.
